KLUESNER HOME PLATE FACILITY​

The building was built in 2006 in memory of Chris by Chris's friends and family. Thank you to everyone that donated and volunteered to make the necessary improvements to keep the building open.

For those of you who did not know Chris Kluesner, this is some background information from his obituary.

Christopher Joseph Kluesner, 42, of Manchester, died Saturday, July 22, 2006, as a result of an industrial accident. He was born July 13, 1964, in Dubuque, IA to William and Ellouise (Vaske) Kluesner. Chris graduated from Western Dubuque High School and Northeast Iowa Community College in Calmar. He worked for ESCO Electric Company until his death. He was united in marriage to Bobbi Jo Aulwes on October 13, 1990, in Garber, Iowa. Chris had an undeniable love for baseball. He was an active Ed-Co Little League Coach and an Ed-Co Little League All-Star coach. He will be sorely missed at the diamond. He was his children’s #1 fan in everything they did.
