SBA Disaster Assistance
The Governor issued disaster declaration to the SBA for all 99 counties in Iowa. Here is a link to encourage small businesses and private non-profits to start applying for disaster relief. This does not apply to churches unfortunately. An injured business is defined as a business that cannot make payroll or PTO due to lack of commerce.

SBA Loan Information
The SBA is providing loans to small businesses due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The
loans offer up to $2 million in assistance to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable and other bills.

Legal Assistance Hotline for COVID-19 Questions
Individuals with questions of a legal nature should call the COVID-19 Legal Information Hotline at 1-800-332-0419. It was developed in partnership with Iowa Legal Aid, the Iowa State Bar Association and the Polk County Volunteer Lawyer Project. The hotline can assist Iowans with business and compliance issues, eviction, denial of unemployment benefits, employment issues and other personal legal concerns. You will be asked to leave a message and someone will return your call.
